A New Zealand First MP is unhappy about people not being able to make oral submissions to select committee hearings on the Bill that allows same sex marriage.
Lole Asenati Taylor says more than 200 people have not had the chance to have their say on the Marriage Amendment Bill.
She believes the six months set aside for select committee consideration of the Bill is too short.
The committee hearing the Bill has had to limit submission times to five minute due to the number of people who have wanted to be heard. http://www.newstalkzb.co.nz/auckland/news/nbpol/458654533-not-enough-time-for-marriage-bill-submissions–says-mp
